Review- E.l.f Studio Complexion Perfection

Create a balanced and radiant complexion that is beautiful and healthy. The lightweight formula evens out skin tone and absorbs excess oil, and sheer formula brightens, mattes and neutralizes the skin.

To use this palette you blend all the colors together.
Blue- Neutralizes orange
Green- Neutralizes red
Pink- Neutralizes grey
Yellow- Brightens and Neutralizes red

Don't expect this palette to give you a full coverage, it's meant to be a sheer powder. Use the powder after you apply your foundation, and then apply your bronzer and blush. You wont be able to tell that you used a multi colored powder. You can also wear the powder alone if you don't need to wear foundation.
The powder will a matte finish which is great for oily skin.
The formula is very soft and silky.
You can find the Complexion Perfection at E.l.f for $3 usd

Review- E.l.f Studio Glossy Gloss

Looking for ultra shine without the shimmer? Glossy Gloss is here! Our high shine, pigmented Glossy Gloss delivers a beautiful sheen and a rich tint of color to your pout. Great for wearing alone or over your favorite e.l.f. Cosmetics lipstick, lip pencil, or any lip color for a vivid gloss effect. The Vitamin E infused formula provides intense hydration and moisture, for lip pucker perfection!

The Glossy Gloss comes in 10 shades

Ballet Slippers, Pink Candy, Sweet Salmon, Tangy Tangerine, Dragon Fruit
Wild Watermelon, Muted Mauve, Berry Blush, Funky Fuchsia, Merry Cherry

These are really really glossy, they go on smooth and look great alone or over top of a color lipstick.
They are a little bit sticky, and they also don't last very long especially after eating and drinking. So make sure you pack it with you. Which is great because the size works great in your purse!

I want to buy them all! Especially the Funky Fuchsia.

Review- E.l.f Eyelid Primer

Preps your eyelid for smoother, longer-lasting and crease-proof eyeshadow. The ultra sheer nude color works to increase eye color longevity. The lightweight liquid formula quickly absorbs into the skin for comfortable wear.

These are the three new shades for the eyelid primer in the Essentials they are $1 usd each.
Same formula has the nude color.
The new Shades are Champagne, Golden, and Pearl
The only thing I'm not a fan of is the Pearl one, you can barely tell that I applied it and it seems runny then the other two, so I'm not sure if it's just mine or if they are all like that, but it still works.
I love using the Champagne under brown colors, Golden under bronze/golden colors, and Pearl for any light color or a shimmer color.
If you have tried the regular one before your gonna love these new shades!
You can find these at e.l.f

Review- E.l.f Makeup Lock & Seal

Increase the intensity of your makeup colors and lock it on instantly. Coat your eyeliner, shadow, lipsticks, blush, brow color and more for a sealed smudge-proof wear. The quick dry and easy to use formula keeps you makeup in place for hours. Say goodbye to makeup smudges and hello to makeup that stays put!

Makeup Lock & Seal is a new product from e.l.f, and I must say LOVE it!
I use this for my loose eye shadows to create the 'foil' look.
I was using the Makeup mist & set to mix with my eye shadows. But this new product is so much easier to use! It comes with a little cup to mix your shadows or to add the liquid in to apply over other makeup.

Here are the Directions from the Website

  • Put a few drops of the Lock & Seal into the small pot provided.

  • Dampen the brush thoroughly with the liquid and mix it with any powder or cream makeup, apply to the face and let dry thoroughly.

  • Remove with cleanser and warm water.

  • For best results clean the brush after each use.

  •  Super easy to use and last's all day.
The bottle is small only 0.53 oz but you really don't use that much, so it should last you a while.
You can find it at e.l.f for $3 usd

    Review- E.l.f Studio Bronzer

Create a healthy looking glow all year round! The sheer soft powders provide the perfect hue of color. Blend all 4 colors together to achieve a blend of perfection or choose your favorite color or colors to mix, match and blend.

This bronzer comes in three different shades
Warm Bronzer- The warm shimmer that will bring a glow to your face. Ideal for summer or year-round.
Cool Bronzer- The ideal selection of matte colors to achieve a natural looking tan. Ideal for winter or year-round.
Golden Bronzer- An illuminating shimmer that is subtle and radiant. Ideal for summer or year-round.

    Warm, Cool, Golden.
This is a great bronzer palette, if you don't want to use all the shades just pick and choose. I use the lightest color for my highlighter, and then I mix the other three for a nice shimmer bronze look but only in the summer. I wouldn't really use the golden shades in the winter because they do have shimmer.
It even works great for eyeshadow for a great bronze look.
The formula is great! Nice and soft and shows the pigment really well.
You can find the bronzer at E.l.f for $3 usd

Review: E.l.f Studio Matte Lip Color

    Natural, Coral

This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact color application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen. The pigment rich color glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte color. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.
The lip color come in 4 different colors:
L-R -Natural, Tea Rose, Praline, Coral
Each Lip Color is $3.00 USD

This is the first time I have ever used a lip color in a pencil form, and I didn't now what to expect. But I love them! You can line your lips and fill them in, the color lasts a long time, very matte but you can always add a little bit of clear gloss.
The only thing I didn't like is the color on the actual container, it doesn't match the color of the lip color. The coral looks pink on the container but once applied it is a actual coral. But that is the only down fall.

I really recommend these lip colors!

Review- e.l.f studio blush- twickle pink

This is a new blush color from the e.l.f's studio line in Twinkle pink.
It is almost the same color as Tickled pink, but Twinkle has alot more shimmer and has more gold.
This blush goes on light or you can build it up with more color, I find it great for the summer, gives you the perfect hint of pink without looking too pink.

    My Rating 1-5 (1-the worst, 5-the best)
    Quality- 4.5
Packaging- I love the black cases that the studio line has and it's very sleek looking
How long does it stay on- I find it stay's on for most of the day, but if it's really hot outside it doesn't stay on for more then 4 hrs
Would I buy it again- Yes
    Price- $3 usd
Overall- Overall it's a great blush, gives you a perfect amount of pink and gold

It is a tinted lip balm with a spf 8, perfect for summer months, were you don't want to wear alot of makeup.
I really like these, you get a very light tint to your lips and it last's a really long time and if you do lick your lips like me, it tastes good (in a lip balm kinda way)

    My Mom's elf Haul

When  I went to my mommas house this weekend, she had her elf order to show me. I also wanted to share with you what she bought. It's not a full review because I only used them once, but from what I've seen I'll share.

    1. Cream Blush- Flirt and Tease.
I never touched a cream blush before so I didn't know what to expect.
This one feels like a sponge. Nice and creamy and smooth. The color is great, you can built it up to how ever dark you want or go for a natural look. I really like these blushes!
    $6

    2. Mineral Glow- Shimmer, Bronzer
These are really smooth. The bronzer has NO Shimmer. It's perfect to contour or use in the winter for a bronzer. The shimmer is perfect for a highlighter, it reflects the light beautifully.
    $8

     3. Mineral Lip Gloss- Fierce, Au Naturale
It is a sheer gloss, so you can wear it alone or over top of a lipstick. It glides on smooth, without being tacky.
    $3

     4. Mineral Lipstick- Runway pink
I love this lipstick! It glides smooth, it hydrates your lips. The pink is a nice natural color.
Mom wore this with the au naturale lip gloss over top and it looked beautiful!
I hope you enjoyed mom's first elf haul. I was excited to use the new blush! Can't wait to buy one. They also stay on if you just was with water, it wouldn't come off my hand! Great product

    e.l.f Minty Lip Gloss Review

Top- Houston, Bottom- New York city

Left- New York city, Right- Houston
If your not a mint fan then these are not for you! It's not to strong but you can sure smell it. The website says

"The sheer glossy color conditions lips with a minty fresh taste. Can be worn alone or layered with other lip products. Give your lips a beautiful sheen and freshen your breath for instant gratification."

Freshen your breath while you wear it! Now that is something new, I couldn't help but laugh when I read that.
They are a very sheer color, they work best when applied over top of a lipstick. I love the New York City color. I'm gonna be wearing that for my Bachelorette party (Sex and the City Theme)
You get alot of product with this gloss, and the packaging is really neat.
The mint helps to plump up your lips, for that full look.
Here are the other colors that elf sells.
Seattle, Nashville, Miami, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City, Chicago, Houston, San Diego

I love the names of the lip glosses! Maybe they should do names for other countries too!

My Rating (1-5 1- the worst, 5- the best)
    Quality- 5
    Packaging- 5
How long does it stay on- 4.5
Would I buy it again- YES!
    Price- $3 (studio line)
Overall- It is a good lip gloss to go over a lipstick, but is a great for a sheer look to

Achieve even skin tone and naturally radiant skin with this moisturizing sheer tint of color. The smooth formula enhances your complexion with the nourishing key ingredients Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E.
    Ingredients
ACTIVE: Benzophenone-3, Ethylhexyl Isopalmitate, Titanium Dioxide.
INACTIVE: Water, Mineral Oil, Cyclomethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Propylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Steareth-21 Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-2, Glyceryl Stearate, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Propylparabem, Tocopherol(VE), Retinyl Acetate(VA), Ascorbyk Palmitate(VC), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, MAY CONTAIN: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891)

    Cost: $3.00
    Shades:
Porcelain, Nude, Beige, Sand, Almond, Mocha, Espresso

They both share some ingredients- Benzophenone- 3, Titamnium dioxide, Water, Xanthan Gum, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Iron Oxides (C177491, C177492, C177499)

They both blend into the skin really good, leaving a matte finish, they only thing is the Essential line leaves the orange smell it dulls with time. Studio line has no lingering smell.

Each line has 7 colors to choose from, the Studio line has a better selection. It took me three different tries from the Essential line to find a color that matches my skin and I have to mix two shades together.

The Essential line is thicker then the Studio. The Essential has more coverage then the Studio. I really like how the Studio has SPF 20, while the Essential still has a SPF but it's only a 15 (still better then none).

The Studio has 0.7 oz of product and the container doesn't come full. The Essential doesn't say how much you get but the container is full. They both are a screw cap and a squeeze tube.

I really like the Studio line because of the no orange smell and the SPF 20, but the lack of product in the oversize tube is kinda disappointing, and it's only $3
I really like the Essential line because it has better coverage, you get a full container of product and it's only a $1.

I hope this helps you with each tinted moisturizer. Each one has their good and bad points but this is what I find, you could be different.

My colors are Studio- Nude, Essential- Rosy Beige

    e.l.f Studio Tinted Moisturizer review

    Nude
    From e.l.f's website
This lightweight and hydrating formula is breathable and provides anti-aging sun protection with UVA/UVB SPF 20. Achieve even skin tone and naturally radiant skin with this moisturizing sheer tint of color. The smooth formula enhances your complexion with the nourishing key ingredients Aloe, Cucumber and Vitamins A, C & E.

Left to Right- Porcelain, nude, beige, sand, almond, mocha, espresso
This moisturizer is perfect for mature skin, those who don't like wearing alot of coverage.
The color matches really good with my natural color, but I don't like it because I have blotchy skin and acne on my chin. So it doesn't do much for me.
It doesn't leave my skin oily, but my dry patches around my nose really come out, even with a moisturizer underneath.
But overall this is a great product for a sheer look.
When I opened my packaging the clear window was empty. I had to shake it. So you don't even get a full container of product, maybe only half. Which is a bummer.

My rating (scale 1-5 1- the worst, 5- the best)
    Quality- 4.5
    Packaging- 3
How long does it stay on- 3.5
Would I buy it again- maybe once my skin clears up, or for makeup on mature skin
    Price $3 USD
Overall- It is a nice product with a SPF 20 which is great for the summer months, but if you want more coverage I would waste your time buying this.
    Where to buy- e.l.f Canada/USA

    Left to Right
Mod Mauve, Mint Cream, Berry Pink, Blush, Plum, Royal Purple, Glitter Glam
    With Flash
You can buy these at e.l.f Canada/USA or e.l.f UK
I find that they chip really fast, even with their top coat. I'm not a big fan on the lid, it makes it really hard to turn the brush in your hand.

My Rating (Scale 1-5 1 the worst 5 the best)
    Quality- 3.5
    Packaging- 4
How long does it stay on- 4
Would I buy it again- Yes
    Price- $1
Overall- It is a good polish, doesn't smell bad, like most polishes do. Pigment is great

    e.l.f Shimmering Facial Whip Review

    Golden Peach, Lilac Petal

These are the Shimmering Facial Whips.
You can find them on e.l.f's website for $1 each. They have many different color choices to choose from -
Pink lemonade, Citrus, Persimmon, Camilia, Lilac Petal, Golden Peach, Spotlight.

They say they are multipurpose. But I find them to work best has highlighters. Or has a base for your eyeshadows. They are have a very nice shimmer to them. They don't feel oily once it dries on your skin, they smell like sweet orange until it dries. So no worries of smelling like a fruit. You only have to use a small amount, so these little tubes last a long time!

My rating (Scale 1-5- 1 the worst, 5 the best)
    Quality- 4.5
