Sugar Honey Lip Scrub

How to get the softest kissable lips it's simple! Just use honey, olive oil and sugar.

Sugar - acts as the abrasive and it dissolves so you don't need to worry about "grit" getting in your mouth.

Honey - has anti-bacterial properties, is usually non-allergenic, and tastes good.

Olive Oil - Moisturizes, protects, soothes, is tasteless in the scrub, and is non-toxic and generally non-allergenic. It won't clog your pores around the mouth either.

In a small dish blend 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of honey and olive oil until you have a thick paste.
Standing over your bathroom sink, exfoliate your lips making sure to get the corners too. Rinse off with warm water and apply a lip balm.
Now you have the softest lips in the house!
Another great option, is to use an infant toothbrush - the soft silicone kind that you slip on your finger.

Review- Elemis Skin Care

I was sent some samples of Elemis skin care from Timetospa and I finally have time to review them for you.
I was sent a facial wash, toner, and a mask, I am in love with the sample sizes!

 Balancing Lavender Toner:

This balancing skincare product effectively tones the skin, maintains the skins natural pH balance and preserves natural oils, without the use of alcohol or harsh detergents. This facial toner helps you regain wonderfully clear skin while combating oily t-zones. Ideal for use on acne prone, combination, or problematic skins.

Feels great on the skin, and get's the rest of the dirt off your face that the cleanser doesn't. I can feel it working on my acne on my chin and it already started to clear up!

 Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash:

This daily facial wash stimulates the skin's natural cell renewal cycle, actively smoothing and refining, whilst gently sloughing away dead skin cells which dull the complexion

This is a gentle cleanser, so it's perfect for sensitive skin. Does not lather it's more like a milk cleanser nice and creamy. Does not leave your skin feeling dry after you use it, and it's anti-ageing (which is a bonus!)

 Herbal Lavender Repair Mask:

This powerful herbal lavendar regenerating mask for combination skin contains antiseptic Rosemary, Thyme, and Elemis Lavender Essential Oil, which synergistically rebalance and purify the skin, making this the ideal mask for sallow and youthful skin prone to congestion.

I would have to say out of all the mask's I have used, this is in my top 5. It feels great, does not dry while your wearing it, and the smell is wonderful makes you all relaxed. I noticed a huge difference in my skin and I only use the mask twice a week.

New Haircut

So I finally decided to cut my hair, it's nothing major since I am very much in love with my long hair. But you know it's time to cut your hair when your hair also gets washed when washing the lil guy in the tub!
Here is my before photo:
It took me 10 mins to cut my hair, I only did a trim and feathered the ends so it didn't look so blunt.
Here is my After photo:
It sure makes the difference when you cut 2 inches off! But it feels so much lighter and has a little bit more volume. You don't need to go to the hair dresser's to cut your hair, it super easy and the best part it's FREE! My motto: It's hair it'll grow back.

I won a giveaway!

I entered Outinapout's giveaway in June and I WON! This is the first giveaway I have ever won. Here is what I received from her.

She sent 2 pairs of Broadway Nail Dress wraps, a set of 3 nail paints, 2 packages of nail art stickers, a pack of stick-on rhinestones and a set of 2 Fine Art Pens.
She also included more goodies because the package was sent back to her because Canada Post was on strike, she sent some samples of lotion and face products, shampoo and my very first Too Faced product a lipstick!
Thank you so much Jessica! Now I will have endless nail art designs to create!

NOTD

For today's Nail's I used Broadway Nails- Nail Dress Stick on Wraps. That I had won in a giveaway from
outinapout I have never used them before but they are super easy to use!

You just select your size, apply and smooth, file and your ready to go! I applied a clear coat over top so they last longer. To take them off you just peel them off, not searching for nail polish remover and pads.

So much easier then painting your nails at 10 at night haha don't have to wait for them to dry.

Review- L.A Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow Palettes

Today's review is on L.A Colors the 5 Color Metallic Eyeshadow Quads.
I have never used any of their eyeshadows before, every time I went to buy them, the store never had the color's I wanted. I have some of their lip products. So this was a first and a great buy!
 I picked up three pallets.
L-R EP23 Serenade, EP24 Unforgettable, EP46 Stormy
All swatches are only a one time pass, I didn't pack on the color on my arm, what you see is from one swipe! Very pigmented!!

Serenade. I love all of these colors!

Unforgettable. You can't see one color because by some miracle I actually got a tan! But it shows up on my eyelid.

Stormy. These are all grey's and look great with the other colors. Also makes a great smokey eye!

If you don't have any L.A Colors what are you waiting for! You can find them at Cherry Culture and I found these at my local dollarstore for $3!
You get a great color payoff and it last's all day!
I'm sure it would last with the heat wave that most of Canada is getting and the United States. (not me we are at +10!)

Making Cold Process Soap

If you never made cold process soap before then you should really really read This! It will tell you everything you need to know and for safety reasons please read.
Then you will need to know what equipment you will need for making soap read This!
Everything thing I used is from voyageur soap and candle It's Canadian and they have really fast shipping!
Alright now that you read the safety and equipment needed let's begin.
1 lb Hemp/Coconut/Olive Oil
5 oz Coconut Oil
5 oz Hempseed Oil
5.2 oz Olive Oil
2.3 oz Lye
6 oz Water
Fragrance/Essential Oil .7 oz
Directions!
Suit up in safety goggles, gloves and long sleeves. Add the lye to the water. Stir well taking precautions to not breathe in the fumes. Set the mixture to the side and allow it to cool to approximately 110F. You can put the lye water mixture outside if you are not in a well ventilated area.

Add all the oils together and melt. Allow them to cool to approximately 110F, or within 5 degrees of the lye water.

Add the lye water to the melted oils, carefully. Stir vigorously until trace occurs. Trace looks like a thin pudding. A stick blender will help speed trace along. If you are stirring by hand, this recipe may take up to an hour to trace.
Once you reach trace add your Fragrance or Essential oils.
I took my soap out early just for photo's they won't look like this once you reach 5 days!
Pour your traced soap mixture into your molds. Pop out after 3 to 5 days and allow to sit for a full 4 to 6 weeks to cure and finish the saponification process.

And don't worry it's gonna look green it's from your Hempseed Oil.
Enjoy!

Review- Sally Hansen Crackle Nail Polish

I was really excited when I found this at Walmart! I had my eyes on the China Glaze and OPI crackle polish but never bought any.
So I bought a Sally Hansen Crackle Polish for $6!
I comes in 8 different shades

I love all the color's and it was so hard to pick just one! So I went with my favorite color Pink.
I was really impressed with this polish, it crackles right away so make sure you get enough polish on, because you don't want to make more then one pass.
I have a light pink for my base, if I had a black or a dark purple I'm sure it would look better.
I really recommend getting this polish, I might even grab more.
The price is perfect! I'm not sure where else you can find it because I have only seen it at walmart for the first time on Tuesday.
If you have tried this polish what do you think of it?

Review- Sigma Flat Top Kabuki F-80

I received a Sigma Brush from Sigma to review, so here it is finally!

I really love this brush! This is the first Sigma brush I have and ever used and was really impressed with it, I already knew that it was a good company from all the other reviews that are out there, and I haven't heard that much bad stuff about them.
I use this brush to apply my contouring powder and it works really good for under the cheek bones I was using the e.l.f bronzing brush, but this one has replaced it.
You can find this brush on Sigma Beauty for $16 which is a really good price for a great brush.
If you don't already have this brush you should really get it! Buy Here

This brush washes easy and dries to it's original shape. The handle is just the right length and the right thickness for my hand. The bristle's are nice and short and dense bristles and buff's the powder into the skin.
You can use this brush with powder or liquid foundation. To give you a flawless finish.

I give this brush a A+!
